Why do we say "Hare Krishna", and what does it mean?

Today we desired, as mentioned previously, to say something about the Hare Krishna greeting, which we can use in our videos and texts! Then sometimes we can be dressed unusually for some viewers, and also play on the videos and photos of some unusual instruments. But we should consider the fact that today a lot of people are more and more familiar with exactly such a #culture which is, in fact, a natural part of our planet. Sometimes some people ask us why you greet with Hare Krishna or Namas Te! So here we are, and now we will speak shortly on these details.

Even if people heard about those attributes, many don’t know what it is in its #essence, what it means and what is the purpose, and therefore can have a sort of unconscious repulsion, which doesn’t need to be negative. It could be just an unperceived fear of the unknown.

First of all, thank you all for joining us and sharing your #irreplaceable and priceless time and for giving us your well-wishing support. We apologize for any inconvenience created in anyone who could not understand some of the expressions and visual attributes.

May we start with one simple thing!

We all, all the time use the same manners in a different order, patterns, different dialects, habits, cultures, etc. This already can solve all mentioned above, but we will go a little bit more in detail.

For all gentlemen and ladies who could not feel peaceful with some of the attributes which we can use here, we will present them as they are so that you can feel as much relaxed as possible just because everyone should experience synchronization.

Yes, many people are using the same attributes but not behaving accordingly, and that is the only problem. Purity and #kindness of the heart everyone can understand but, hypocrisy, and pretending no one likes, even the animals, and will try to avoid such an atmosphere where authentic life and #happiness are not welcome.

Greeting such as Hare Krishna has very deep and profound meaning. It came from the Hare Krishna movement, which has its roots in ancient Vedic scriptures, and it follows the concept of principles of #freedom, which are presented by Lord Krishna, who is the compiler and source of any knowledge known to the people.

Vedas (the root #knowledge scriptures, the origin of all information about social and #spiritual dealings), are written more than 5000 years ago, and, till that time, the knowledge was gathered and transferred through hearing and listening!

We are all gifted with integrated lore!

But now, in this modern time, that knowledge is partially lost, and it needs some refreshment, and the heart needs more #balance and #peace so that it can start to give happiness and #joy as a fundament of a #healthy life.

So, when someone says Hare Krishna, it represents power and a great connection with Lord Krishna together with His energies, which are all-pervading and full of support. We are investing right now time for clarifying these things just for the sake of clarification and nothing more. We can see that the world is much more than we see. It is not always exactly what we think it is, and to take shelter of someone who created it is a wise #solution.

There is an intelligence behind the visible world. All famous Yogis, noble personalities, scientists, healers, leaders took the advice in Krishna’s words. In Bhagavad Gita, He speaks and explains all possible things, as in all other Vedic scriptures. So, this all shortly presents what it is when someone says, Hare Krishna!

Then you can sometimes notice other different attributes that we could apply. We can say sometimes we have some markings on the forehead, and that is called tilak. It is placed not only on the forehead but on twelve places on the body and, it applied while we are pronouncing specific mantras for balancing the body. Shortly it represents the body as a temple, where in the area around the heart is situated Lord Himself together with us.

Musical Instruments!

Probably you could notice specific musical instruments, but what to speak about them, they are musical instruments and #music is an art of expressing the heart and a universal thing. Although these instruments are well known all around the world, they are used mostly by Hare Krishna practitioners, and that could resonate with some people who may feel a little uncomfortable. But there is no need because it’s the #yoga or art of acting.

Actually, for those who don’t know, Hare Krishna practitioners are practitioners of “Bhakti Yoga” (the yoga of #devotion), the essential yoga explained in yoga scriptures as a final goal of all yogic efforts.

Because all that we need is #love and nothing besides it, bhakti-yoga is known as a goal of all practices. It’s for the people who are neither disgusted nor selfishly attracted to the world. For example, in any movie, the main character needs to make some practical efforts to please the beloved one, like dressing, decorating, speaking. Similarly, our body and mind structure need yoga techniques to unlock the true self situated between the fears, and similar patterns of emotions, which are holding the reality far from us. And to notice the world of love which is surrounding us so that we can finally move as a #free person and express and offer all our incredible potentials to the world and Lord Krishna.

So these are some thoughts which we desired to share with you, and please contact us freely if anything is touching you and something is not clear.

Join us in the revolution of discovering our treasures and living them right here and now!

Hare Krishna and till next time! Thank you
